FULL CAR SERVICES FOR THE WEEK
We understand you may want to secure a full-time driver for an amazing experience...and you have made a very wise decision! Each year we have many guests involved in accidents and most all the guests have damage to their cars by the end of their stay. Driving in this part of Italy is not for the faint of heart or anyone wanting a relaxing vacation. Please forward us the emails and telephone numbers for the other members of your party so that they may also be included in the information sharing.
Below is a description of the service, the price, what is included, and the payment schedule and method. ONCE A DEPOSIT IS RECEIVED, YOUR SERVICE IS CONFIRMED.
FULL DRIVING SERVICE
INCLUDED IN YOUR FEE: One week (7 days) of service with a fully licensed, insured, professional driver in a late model luxury car or van (depending on the number in your party) One arrival and one departure at Rome FCO Airport. Your day of arrival and day of departure are not touring days. These are transport-only days. The driver will pick you up, take you to the grocery, show you the town you are staying in and then take you to your villa. Touring starts the next day.
ALSO INCLUDED: A maximum of 11 hours of service per day, for 6 days touring in the “zone”, roughly bordered by Rome in the South and Florence in the North.
APPLICABLE SURCHARGES: All Rome hotel or station arrivals are at 12 noon, or later. A small surcharge of 125 Euros is required. This fee is simply to cover the extra time, distance, city entry fees, and fees associated with entering Rome Center. All Rome hotel drop-offs (departures), require a departure from your villa, no later than 9:00am. A small surcharge of 125€ is required when the arrival or departure is in the Rome City Center (hotel or train). Your driver will transport you to the airport for your flight. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE DAY OF ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE ARE NOT TOURING DAYS. THESE DAYS ARE TRANSPORT DAYS ONLY.
NOT INCLUDED: Arrival or departure at an airport other than Rome (a small surcharge of 225€ for Florence). The arrival pick up at a hotel in Rome or another city, or more than one arrival or departure point. Touring outside of the" zone" mentioned above. If you have a request for another area, just let us know. We will speak with the service about any additional costs. Service of more than eleven (11) hours in a day. This is typically charged at 100€ per hour, but must be discussed in advance with the service operator. Italian law is very strict in this matter.
GRATUITY FOR YOUR DRIVER IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SERVICE FEE.
HOW IT WORKS:
Typically your driver will pick you up at the airport in Rome or a hotel in Rome Center. Most guests choose to arrive a day or so early to visit Rome. A surcharge of 125€ is required for this Rome Center Hotel pick up. Your personal driver will take you to Manciano, show you the town, take you to the local grocery and then to your villa. Plan each day directly with your driver. Your driver will advise and assist you to be sure you see all the amazing sights both known and unknown to tourist. We feel it is very important that you see the "real" culture and experience the true cuisine of the region. Your day of departure, your driver will take you to the Rome airport for an on-time departure (this is not a touring day). Most guests choose to fly out directly at the end of their stay. Please let me know if you choose differently.
A fee of 125€ is required for a Rome Center departure. If you prefer a departure to Florence, a fee of 225€ is required.
PAYMENT POLICY:
To proceed with your reservation a deposit is required via PayPal or Venmo. The balance is paid directly with Euros in cash form, the day after you arrive at your Tuscan Resort Villa THE CUSTOMARY GRATUITY OF 15-20% IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SERVICE FEE. THIS IS ALWAYS PAID WITH EUROS IN CASH FORM, DIRECTLY TO YOUR DRIVER. The least expensive way to convert your currency is to request it from your bank in the US. The local ATMs in our area, will give a max of 250€ cash per day. The local banks in Manciano and the area WILL NOT EXCHANGE CURRENCY. Change services are available in major cities and airports, but seem to charge 7-10% commission (not available in Manciano, Pitigliano or Montermerano) Western Union is in Manciano, but seems to be the most expensive way to convert and send currency. If you prefer this option, just let us know and we will provide details.
A deposit payment request will be sent to you via PayPal or Venmo. Once your deposit payment is received, your service is confirmed.
Your driver will be waiting for you at the appointed time and place. You are set go to your beautiful villa, to have an amazing week exploring in luxury and comfort!

You may laugh, but we get asked this all the time.**
One hundred percent of your deposit
will be deducted from the service fee.
EXAMPLE: Service for 4 people is 4000€. A deposit of 500 Euros is taken via PayPal or Venmo, leaving a balance of 3500 Euros.
50% with Euros in cash form and 50% with a Visa or Master Card, the day after you arrive at Tuscan Resort.
FEES DO NOT INCLUDE GRATUITY OF 15-20%
Please know that you will receive the very best care and service to ensure this is a trip of a lifetime. All the vehicles are late model luxury vans, cars, and sedans, exceptionally clean and maintained to the highest standards. The vehicle will be determined by the number in your party. All parties of 3 or more will be in a luxury van to ensure your comfort.
